Thanks
to everyone who participated in North Texas Giving Day on September 14,
2017. We appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedule to get up
and give.
We are thankful to God for the work at Eden Outreach. This year has been such a blessing to many as we listen to many expressions of gratitude and testimonies. Many families who would have been in the streets were given accommodation in our housing until they were able to stand on their own. This is marvelous and could only be made possible through the help of our generous partners.
We are doing our part in getting people off of the streets, assisting them in finding jobs and seeing them stay employed. The program saw a tremendous growth this year as we had a full house with no room left! What was most exciting to see was these individuals desire to change and prepare themselves for something different from their past. It's so thrilling to watch these individuals stay committed to a new lifestyle that leads to a better future.
We have also had more committed volunteers this year than last year!
As we approach the holiday season, we want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, a Merry Christmas, and a Blessed New Year.
To conclude, I say acknowledge God in all your ways, trust in Him alone and cast all your cares on Him in the midst of all the things that are happening in your life and in the world. To those who lost loved ones to these evil tragedies, we pray God's amazing grace, peace, strength and encouragement into your life.
